Julia Le Tissier (President)
Julia is a Director of Prime Recruitment and Channel Islands Data Services. She has been a member of the YBG since arriving in Guernsey in 2004 and has found the friends and business contacts that she has made through the organisation valuable in helping her settle into Island life. She has helped out with the Christmas lights, dressed up in the Parade and organised various social events for the membership. Julia joined council in 2007 and has been the Membership Secretary, Social Secretary and Vice President before becoming our current YBG President. Julia is currently finishing her MSc in Management with Human Resources. In any spare time she enjoys her Book Group and a glass of wine.

Rory Inglis (Vice President)
Rory Inglis is Business Development Director for leading Channel Island interior fit-out and refurbishment specialist POS Interiors. Rory joined the company from school originally to work in Design, where he is qualified in 3D technical drawing and has since progressed to managing many of the company’s major accounts as well as developing new initiatives and solutions for clients in a rapidly changing market place. Rory joined YBG in 2007 and is very keen to ensure its continued success, working with a fantastic group of individuals. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf trying to establish a single figure handicap.

Vicky Pratt (Secretary)
Vicky is an advocate at Babbé and specialises in company, general corporate and trust work. She also advises significant local and international institutions on employment law matters. She qualified in the City of London as a solicitor and in 2002, lured by the call of the sea, returned to her family roots in Guernsey where she was called to the Guernsey bar. She has been a member of YBG since 2003 and joined Council in 2007. As a YBG member she has had fun supporting the many social events and assisting with the Christmas lights and the switch-on parade. In her spare time Vicky likes nothing better than to dine in the island's various eateries and also enjoys yoga and jumping around in the gym.

Gwenllian Sanders (Treasurer)
Gillian Smart (Social Secretary)
Gillian is the Corporate Account Manager for Channel Television. Splitting her time between Jersey and Guernsey, Gillian's role is to promote corporate and commercial television production to local businesses.
Gillian joined YBG in 2008 and has enjoyed the opportunity it's given her to make new business contacts in an informative and friendly environment. In her spare time Gillian enjoys running and cycling, socialising with friends and live music - attending as many concerts as possible each year.

Esther Dodd (Past President)
Esther has maintained a seat on the Young Business Group Council since 1999 and was YBG President 2009. By day, Esther is a negotiator with local estate agency, Martel Maides. After having recently spent eighteen months renovating a cottage, Esther is enjoying a well earned rest and is happy to pass on her wisdom to others looking to restore old properties to their former glory! In order to unwind, Esther enjoys walking, reading, gardening and Pimm's!

Kat Gillespie (Council Member)
Kat is a professional event, wedding and party planner. She launched her own event management business (Eventure Limited) in February 2002 and introduced wedding services (The Wedding Fairy) in 2006.
Kat is a keen sportswoman who features regularly in the Guernsey Ladies Volleyball squad and joined the management board of the Guernsey Island Games Association (GIGA) in 2007.
Kat joined YBG in 2006 and continues to enjoy meeting new and interesting people that the YBG community brings.

Carl Stanford (Council Member)
Carl is a qualified Actuary and a Senior Manager of actuarial services within the BWCI Group. Carl advises on a range of pension matters for Channel Islands and UK pension schemes. He is also responsible for the development of actuarial models and actuarial training within the Group. Carl is an active member of YBG and since joining in 2004 and has helped with many YBG events and prepares the Excel analysis of the Business Trend Survey. Carl has held the position of YBG Secretary for 2 years and YBG Treasurer for 2 years. Carl enjoys spending time with his family and fishing.

Melissa Campbell (Council Member)
Melissa has been a Director of Situations Recruitment Agency since 2002, which deals with the placement of permanent and temporary staff at every level in the Guernsey finance and commercial sectors. She joined YBG Council in 2009 after dressing up as Dorothy for the switch-on day parade and assisting with the lights take-down, as well as attending many lunches and several evening events, which she has very much enjoyed. At the weekends Melissa spends time boating, swimming, going to the gym and taking long walks around the Castel lanes, as well as dining out and socialising in the evening.

Keith Wilen (Council Member)
After a number of years working in the London advertising industry, Keith returned to Guernsey and founded his own marketing consultancy called Suave Media. His business specialises in providing internet advertising for UK and local clients. As a YBG member since 2006, Keith has made many new contacts, helped with the Christmas lights and enjoyed lots of lunches. In his free time Keith loves rocking out on the drums with his band.
